Job Pricing
What Is Job Pricing?
Job pricing provides you with access to market remuneration data for a single role or small group of roles within your organisation that are currently not published in your remuneration reports. For example, you may seek market pay rates for a 'Marketing Knowledge & Research Manager' role and establish that the role is not published in the remuneration reports to which you currently subscribe. Our consultants can advise whether this role is published within Hewitt CSi's suite of remuneration reports and provide you with relevant job pricing. If the role is not currently published, our consultants will discuss how Hewitt CSi's customised market surveys service may assist you.
Benefits Of Job Pricing
- Job pricing provides you with access to market remuneration rates that are not supplied in your current sources of remuneration market data - this is vitally important for ensuring you have all of the market data you need to apply a consistent, equitable and fair methodology for determining salary levels and increases for all roles across your organisation
- Job pricing ensures you do not have to purchase extra remuneration reports when you only need additional market remuneration data for one or a small number of roles
Format Of Results
The job prices (market remuneration data) for the roles you require will generally be provided to you in the standard remuneration data format that appears in each of Hewitt CSi's surveys. Where data sample sizes permit, this format clearly presents average and 25th, 50th, 62.5th and 75th percentile data for all elements of employees' salaries and benefits packages, including taxable base salary, superannuation, performance pay and various FBT-able and non FBT-able benefits.
Hewitt CSi's Methodology
- Method 1: once you have established the roles you need job prices for, you may assess Hewitt CSi's survey position descriptions to identify the survey positions that match the roles you need job prices for. To read through Hewitt CSi's survey position descriptions, go to Surveys | Australian or New Zealand | select the survey/s you think your role may appear in, then scroll down to the position descriptions link. Contact our consultants with the relevant position codes, position titles and survey titles to obtain your job prices
- Method 2: you may send your organisation's position descriptions to Hewitt CSi for the roles you need job prices on. Our consultants will assess your position descriptions, recommend the appropriate matches from Hewitt CSi's survey positions database and formulate a job pricing report. If you do not have current position descriptions for relevant roles, our consultants will need to perform job analysis for you
