Responsible for
Providing customer service for mainframe computer products and services, and/or a defined group of customers or area. |

Senior Field Engineer/Team Leader. |

Supervises
No supervisory responsibilities. |

Main Activities
Carrying out on-site service and problem-solving for computer systems and peripherals.
Testing and installing new systems.
Answering emergency calls for assistance in rectifying systems malfunctions.

Basic skills in computer engineering and a developed knowledge of key products.
Basic problem analysis and fault rectification skills.
Ability to conserve and manage time on the job.

Typical Experience
At least 1 to 3 years practical experience in customer service with basic technical training and product servicing experience. |

The role must work closely with customers to resolve immediate technical problems. This position covers hardware maintenance of mainframe computer installations.
