Responsible for
Processing of pay using a manual system.
 
Reports To
Payroll Manager, Human Resources Manager or General Manager in a smaller company or division.
 
Supervises
No supervisory responsibilities.
 
Main Activities
  • Gathering, processing and completing manual input forms and timely submissions of same to external payroll bureau.
  • Ensuring all time sheets, payroll change forms are received prior to close off of payroll run.
  • Handling all appropriate award/agreement provisions in relation to overtime, shift allowances, meal payments etc.
  •  
    Key Skills
  • Numeric accuracy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements in respect of PAYG, FBT and payroll tax.

    All management staff and employees.
     
    External Contacts
    External payroll bureau.
     
    Typical Experience
    At least 2 years payroll experience.
