Responsible for
Organising and supervising a small group of clerical staff engaged in one or more clerical activities.
 
Reports To
Office Manager, Administration Manager or Company Secretary, Branch Department Manager.
 
Supervises
Clerical, Accounts or Payroll staff.
 
Main Activities
  • Supervising staff responsible for accounts payable/receivable.
  • Overseeing inter-company charging.
  • Overseeing import/export/foreign exchange transactions.
  • Processing freight charges.
  • Processing orders, maintaining stock control.
  • Cashiering and banking.
  • Ensuring fluidity of statistical records/returns.
  • Ensuring consistency of ledgers.

  • Organisational and decision making ability.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership, coupled with supervisory skills.

    5+ years practical experience including supervision of a group of clerical staff, and performance of a broad spectrum of the work in the section concerned.
