Hewitt has had a long-standing affiliation with the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) producing on their behalf, the AIIA Survey of Salaries & Remuneration Packaging within the ICT Industry on a biannual basis.

The survey is specific to member companies of the AIIA and has grown rapidly since its inception in 1988, reflecting the increasing emphasis on IT as the driving force behind progressive organisations in Australia.

The survey's reputation as the key source of remuneration and benefits information in the Australian ICT market is continuously supported by the Contributor list and active participation of the nominated steering committee of which current members include:

• The AIIA,

• Hewlett Packard Australia Ltd,
• SingTel Optus Pty Ltd,
• TCS Financial Solutions Australia Pty Ltd.,
• Data#3,
• Ericsson Australia Pty Limited

• The August 2009 report has 61 contributors
• 257 comprehensive salaries and benefits position tables were produced in August 2009 with 32,072 lines of data
• Remuneration Forums are held twice per year in Sydney and Melbourne. They provide an informal meeting place for contributors to network and discuss items such as current survey results, maximising the value of your survey, and discussion of industry related topics. Guest speakers are often invited to these sessions.
• The Steering Committee is constantly enhancing the direction and content of the survey
