Established in 1990, The Research, Emerging Technologies and Defence Remuneration Report was previously named the Defence Technology Industry Remuneration Report. In 2008 this survey has been broadened beyond the bounds of the Defence industry to cover remuneration data on all Engineering and Management positions involved with research and development of both Defence and other emerging technologies.

The survey provides comprehensive remuneration tables per position as well as general commentary on salary market movements, economic commentary and feature surveys.

Survey Highlights

• The November 2009 report has 15 contributing organisations
• 61 comprehensive salaries and benefits position tables were produced in November 2009 from 2,797 lines of data
• The Career level section provides remuneration tables per job family so that contributors are provided with an alternate source of data for those positions they cannot match directly to positions within the survey. The production of Career level also assists contributors in job matching
• Hewitt continues to enhance the content of the survey to reflect market changes

The report subscription includes access to Hewitt's Data Centre. Data centre allows the user access to Remuneration data 24 hours a day seven days a week. One is able to view/download remuneration survey data at varied market percentiles and in a number of different report formats - i.e: Remuneration Data Tables and Compa-ratios for example.
