The Australian IT Specialists Remuneration Report was initiated in May 1987 and today represents Australia's premier source of remuneration information for IT employees operating within large corporates. More than 22,000 Australian IT employees have been surveyed in producing the results.

In recognising the changing nature of large IT sites due to developments in technology, Hewitt is continually reviewing new positions and technologies. Currently, the Survey remuneration results may be broken down by site size, state and industry.

Survey Highlights

• The Survey is produced twice a year in April and November
• Currently there are 120 contributing organisations to the survey from a broad range of industries, including Banking & Finance, Energy & Primary Industry, Computer & Hi-Tech, Outsourcing, Professional Services, Government, Manufacturing and Other
• There are 136 position tables, each with a corresponding position description and broken up into the following job families: Senior IT Management, Project Management, Applications Services, Infrastructure, Operations, IT Support, Professional Services and Other Specialists.
