Australian Legal Roles (Corporate Law) Remuneration ReportQuick LinksReport Content OverviewMany organisations are finding that getting relevant, up-to-date and targeted market remuneration information their coprorate legal teams is vital to attract and retain a high calibre of incumbent in a critical role within an organisation. Hewitt has previously run customised surveys for these positions for clients, but due to widespread demand, it was decided in 2008 to expand the targeted organisations to the wider market. Hewitt has produced its first annual Australian Legal Roles (Corporate Law) Remuneration Report in December 2008. It features independent and robust market intelligence on remuneration rates and salary packaging information for 6 corporate legal roles from corporate leaders across a wide range of industries. Additionally, for the 2009 survey, we added in a Company Secretary role to provide further coverage. To provide greater insight into the relationship between pay rates and number of years post-qualification (post College of Law accreditation as opposed to attainment of tertiary qualification), Hewitt collects this information as part of the data capture process, and reports on this for each individual position (data permitting).
